I have been waiting for this movie, The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor, for a very long time, and as usual, I went to watch this movie on the first day which it was just released!!! Jet Li, my childhood idol until now, also acts in this movie too, but acts in evil role.

Explorer Rick O'Connell to combat the resurrected Han Emperor in an epic that races from the catacombs of ancient China high into the frigid Himalayas. Rick is joined in this all-new adventure by son Alex, wife Evelyn and her brother, Jonathan. And this time, the O'Connells must stop a mummy awoken from a 2,000-year-old curse who threatens to plunge the world into his merciless, unending service. Doomed by a double-crossing sorceress to spend eternity in suspended animation, China's ruthless Dragon Emperor and his 10,000 warriors have laid forgotten for eons, entombed in clay as a vast, silent terra cotta army.

But when dashing adventurer Alex O'Connell is tricked into awakening the ruler from eternal slumber, the reckless young archaeologist must seek the help of the only people who know more than he does about taking down the undead: his parents. As the monarch roars back to life, our heroes find his quest for world domination has only intensified over the millennia. Striding the Far East with unimaginable supernatural powers, the Emperor Mummy will rouse his legion as an unstoppable, otherworldly force... unless the O'Connells can stop him first.

This is a movie not to be missed!!! You can enjoy the thriller, the action, the jokes and the romance inside too! Or you want to see Brendan to kick some Mummies, you are certainly need to watch this!!!

Chicky Pub

It's lunch time!!!

I came across to this restaurant, Chicky Pub, when I'm searching for lunch together with one classmate. The restaurant is located at New Bob Building, Gottlieb Road, just opposite of Penang Chinese Girls High School. First time saw this restaurant, and no need further suggestion, just go in for a try.

Chicky Pub, a franchisee fast food restaurant in Korea and Penang branch is the second branch in Malaysia. The first one is at Ampang, KL, if not mistaken.

A nice environment inside, got Korea atmosphere? Just simple decoration but yet, refreshing and clean environment.

When I looked over the menu, gosh, it is so expensive for the ala-carte! The price for a plate of chicken costs RM30 like that, and RM20 for a plate of spaghetti.

But luckily, the restaurant provides set lunch too, with the price at RM11.80 and RM12.80, and it includes with service charge and government tax! The price is quite reasonable.

The set lunch comes with one glass of Pepsi.

And coleslaw, corn salad and garlic breads. The salads are just nice.

This one is DdukBokki Pasta, which smells good, and it is really delicious!!!

Well, I had this, Rice Gratin, which cooked with Korean recipe and the most important is, this rice is yummy too!!!

The price of ala-carte might get expensive, but still, the set lunch is quite cheap and reasonable too. Maybe next time I should ask couple of friends and taste the famous Chicken there.

MaceDoine Dining

It's lunch time!!!

Again, I went out with my best buddies, Boon Wah and Ryan. Another headache decision for the destination of our lunch, well, we went to Queensbay Mall, a mall where we went to there frequently. Walk walk walk, and we saw a restaurant, MaceDoine Dining. Yeah, no need to make further suggestions, just sit down and have our lunch instead.

The restaurant is located South Wing of Queensbay Mall, just beside TGI Friday Restaurant.

This restaurant serves western food, such as pasta, chicken chop, fish and chips and etc. Not forget to mention, the service there is really nice, as the waiters and chefs are really friendly.

Here comes the main course, a spaghetti served with fresh seafood, capsicium garlic and fresh herbs. Taste great!

Freshly Catch "Deep-Fried Fisherman's Basket", consists of prawns, squid rings, fish and mussels, with mesculin salad and baked potato wedges.

Well, this is the my lunch, Specialty MaceDoing Deep-Fried Seafood. It consists of prawns, N.Z. mussels, and fillet of fish, served with potato wedges, special sauce and fresh baquette bread. Thumbs up, and I want to order one more too!

3 of us were very satisfied with the food and service, and this place is worth to visit again!

X-Files: I Want to Believe

It's movie time!!!

I went to watch movie again, yes, is again! I watched X-Files: I Want to Believe just now, which just released today! I just cant wait and I want to watch it, that's simple! As a fan for X-Files since I was a childhood, I couldn't resist of this big picture!

So what is this movie all about? A mysterious movie, I would say that.

X-FILES: I WANT TO BELIEVE

This movie is a science fiction film, which directed by Chris Carter and written by Carter and Frank Spotnitz. It is the second feature film based on Carter's TV series The X-Files, following the 1998 film.

In grand "X-Files" manner, the film's storyline is being kept under wraps, known only to top studio brass and the film's principals. This much can be revealed: The supernatural thriller is a stand-alone story in the tradition of some of the show's most acclaimed and beloved episodes, and takes the always-complicated relationship between Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) in unexpected directions. Mulder continues his unshakable quest for the truth, and Scully, the passionate, ferociously intelligent physician, remains inextricably tied to Mulder's pursuits.

Mulder and Scully are drawn back into the world of the X-Files by a case.

Perhaps more clues...to something....can be found...

It's a story that involves the difficulties in mediating faith and science. It really does suggest Mulder's struggle with his faith.

Would you believe, Scully?

Don't give up! Just keep on searching!

Fans of the TV show may enjoy seeing Mulder and Scully back in action, but there's little in this run-of-the-mill mystery to attract the uninitiated. I just cannot understand of what the truth is, maybe it is just part of the interesting plot of this movie.
