Trip to Kelantan - Part 1

It's travel time!!!

I went to Kelantan last two years to visit some friends and attend a Leo Club function there. Together with 2 friends along, we went there for 3 days 2 nights.

Luckily, we were brought by some friends at there to visit Kelantan and basically, there are not much historical places to visit to. But still, we managed to visit some of the famous temples there.

Sitting Buddha, which regardless as the biggest Sitting Buddha in South East Asia. It is located at Tumpat, Kota Bharu.

The main entrance of the Sleeping Buddha temple

The most popular Buddhist temple in Kelantan would be the Wat Pothvihan near Cabang Empat, which houses the 40m long reclining Buddha (one of the largest of its kind in the world). Normally we called this as Sleeping Buddha Temple.

It is larger than the one Sleeping Buddha in Penang.

This statue is known as the longest sleeping Buddha in South East Asia.

The remarkable Standing Buddha at Wat Laikatong, Tumpat. It is the tallest Buddha in Malaysia.
