Famous Chendul & Ice Kacang

It's dessert time!!!

Chendul had always been Penangites' choice dessert for a long time. The famous Chendul and Ice Kacang stall is located at Keng Kwee Street, Penang Road. This time I decided to bring my classmates to there and try the famous Chendul in Penang.

Geok Kee, here you are, as requested by you for the famous Ice Kacang. Actually there are some famous Ice Kacang stalls in Penang too, but I decided to let you know about this first.

Talking about Chendul, it consists of smooth, firm green pandan noodles together with red beans, coconut milk, shaved ice and topped with gula melaka (black sugar syrup).

We also ordered Ice Kacang, which also served with shaved ice but with different toppings. The toppings are red beans, raisins, black gelatins, corns, red & black syrup and evaporated milk.

For other Ice Kacang stalls, they might served together with one scoop of Ice Cream on of it.

The well-known Chendul is just in front of me! Yummy, it is so delicious! Oishi ne! It is a recommended dessert after a meal.
