Celebration of Wesak Day

Today is the first day for the celebration for Wesak Day.

This year is the same, our association, 槟城佛教义学校友会 Penang Buddhist Free School Ex-Pupils' Association, will carry out the celebration at Lee Association Building, which located just beside 马来西亚佛教总会 Malaysia Buddhist Association, at Burmah Road there.

This is the slogan for our association, 为了慈善 For charity, 为了教育 For education, 请支持佛义 Please support Fo Yi.

We also provided Wishing Tree for the public.

The lotus candles, which can be enlighten during these period. These candles are sold according to different prices.

Wishing Cards, which can be obtained by donating some money to the charity funds. Oh ya, forget to mention, the funds will be donated to the Earthquake Disaster's Victims at China.

"Yeah, the card must hang on top of the wishing tree..."

These are the plastic lotuses, which can be obtained and put on the wishing pond by just donating RM5 or RM10.

This is the pool for Bathing the Buddha 浴佛.

For the opening ceremony, I'm glad to be the emcee and work with one of my senior.

The public will have the chance to bath the Buddha and wish upon it.

Not forget to mention, the total funds raised will be donated to the Earthquake Disaster's Victims at China.
