Food in Ipoh - Part 1

On last Saturday, I went to Ipoh for one of my friend's house warming, with my friend Raymond. As soon I reached Ipoh, my friend brought us to taste the famous Tau Fu Fah 豆腐花 in Ipoh. It was located at near Foh San Dim Sum 富山点心, at Clarke Street there.

How famous is it? It provided drive thru service which allowed car drivers to have their Soya Bean Milk and Tau Fu Fah in the car. One of the servers will come and ask for your orders and then will bring the drinks for you. I took the photo above in the car. My friend said everytime will have a lots of cars waiting to taste this Tau Fu Fah.

After that, we went to Pasir Pinji for lunch. According to local there, Pasir Pinji also called as Dai Shu Kiok (大树脚 in cantonese). Wow, a lot of people went to there for lunch also.

The famous food at there is Liu (料 in cantonese), which got fried wan tan (炸云吞), fried tau fu peh (炸豆腐皮), fried fish ball (炸鱼丸) and etc.

These Liu looked delicious, my saliva is going to drop out again. =p

Red Bean Ice Blended, the famous drink at there. It is thirst cruncher for everyone.

Yeah, my favorite food at Ipoh, Lok Pak Gou (罗卜糕). I love it very much, the taste is absolutely great and delicious, it is a must try food at there! Penang also got similar like this, Char Koay Kak.

We ordered some Liu to try also, again, nice!

Raymond ordered Chicken Porridge, and he said the porridge is nice also. Smooth and silky, according to him.

The food we ordered, the left is Laksa. Kinda lots right? Don't get scare by its appearance, we got 4 person there to take the lunch.

After the lunch, we went to the new house and rested at there. At night, I took bus went back to Penang, as I got Sunday Class for Fo Yi on the next day.
